Good Afternoon Dave and the entire membership of the Milton Oldstars,

 

I am proud to share with you that it has been one year since the expanded Milton District Hospital officially opened for patient care! When we opened our doors on October 1, 2017, it brought together the impressive result of over 6 years of planning, building, fundraising and tremendous support from our generous community.

 

Healthcare is about people and hospitals are the backdrop to important moments, where lives change forever and acts of compassion and exemplary care have a lasting impact. Your continued support of the Milton District Hospital Foundation offers a lasting impact on so many lives.

 

As we celebrate our first anniversary in our newly expanded facility, I am pleased to share with you that since the opening of our new Emergency Department over 44,000 patients have been cared for;  44,000 of your friends, family members, co-workers and neighbors. The Milton community can rest easy, knowing that a new, fully equipped emergency room is close by when it’s needed most. All made possible from generous support from donors like the Milton Oldstars, our longest serving community partner.  

 

On behalf of everyone at Milton District Hospital, our staff, physicians, and most of all our patients and their families, thank you for your unwavering support.  We are grateful to the Milton Oldstars for continuing to be such an integral part of our healthcare family and supporting our vision to transform the community hospital experience.
